Warranty
RML Wheels warrants to the original owner that products manufactured by RML Wheels are free from defects in materials and workmanship, under normal and intended use, for a period of one year from the original date of purchase. This warranty does not cover corrosion or discoloration due to chemicals (including excessive exposure to road salt or other common de-icing agents), detergents, polishing compounds or abrasives used in improper cleaning. This warranty will be void if wheels are determined to be damaged from after-sale re-finishing (including but not limited to painting, polishing, and powder-coating), off-road or track use, mechanical car wash equipment, nicks from road hazard, improper tire mounting, use of clip-on weights, improper installation, accident or curb damage, normal wear and tear, neglect, or road hazards.
Please understand that in the case of wheels with a machined/clear-coated finish we do not consider minor visual-only imperfections to be defects.
RML Wheels agrees to repair or replace, at our sole discretion, without charge, any RML wheels product which is returned to us, and which after examination shows that said product has failed in normal use due to defects in material and/or workmanship. Such repair or replacement shall not include installation. Shipping expenses to and from destinations, including mounting and dismounting of tires is not covered by this warranty and therefore will remain the responsibility of the customer.
RML Wheels reserves the right to modify or alter in any way the warranty policy without notice.
RML Wheels hereby disclaims all other express warranties. RML Wheels hereby disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability and use for a particular purpose to the extent the law of the state of sale and federal law allows.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights under state laws. No warranty or representation by anyone other than RML Wheels will be binding by the manufacturer.
Returns
You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, you must first contact us directly for a return authorization. Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.
Please note that any item considered to be of special order status cannot be returned.
Any wheel that has had a tire mounted to it or has been mounted to a car is not eligible for a return: please carefully inspect all wheels before anything else.
Returns not due to defects or our error are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Also, because Shopify does *not* refund merchant fees for canceled or refunded orders, for all returns we are forced to add a 3.5% processing fee.
If free shipping was offered with your purchase, returns not due to defects or our error may be subject to added shipping charges for initial delivery.
Refunds
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment).
You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.
Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable.
