Of course, the design will need to fit the ethos of the RML brand, but if you've got a cool OEM+ or 80s/90s tuner wheel design in mind, let's discuss!
The inquiry process begins like this:
Send an email with your idea (include photo and approximate specs) to me at sales@rmlwheels.com. I'll reply with my thoughts regarding the feasibility of your idea. My criteria is mostly based on how well the idea fits into the RML brand identity, availability of suitable blank forgings, and potential copyright/licensing issues with existing designs.
Assuming we come to an agreement on the above, and you accept the price quote, the ordering process will continue as follows:
- I’ll create an invoice for you
- A 25% refundable deposit is required to get order started
- I begin the engineering process based on the specs you require and create a corresponding detailed rendering for you
- You can accept the rendering as-is or suggest changes
- Assuming we get to an acceptable rendering approved by you, an additional 25% deposit is required to begin actual production
- Once paid, the 50% total deposit becomes non-refundable
- Production time at this point is approximately 4 to 6 weeks
- Once the wheels are completed I will send you detailed photos and videos for inspection
- Once approved, the final 50% payment plus shipping is due
