Adding more context to the last blog update, we offer you the ability to create your own custom RML forged wheel design.
Of course, the design will need to fit the ethos of the RML brand, but if you've got a cool OEM+ or 80s/90s tuner wheel design in mind, let's discuss!
One thing to keep in mind…forged wheels are expensive! Even my least expensive design will be priced at almost 2X what a similar spec cast wheel would be. RML forged wheels start at $2,000 per set and go up from there.
The inquiry process begins like this:
Send an email with your idea (include any photos or other visual references and approximate specs) to me at sales@rmlwheels.com. I'll reply with my thoughts regarding the feasibility of your idea. My criteria is mostly based on how well the idea fits into the RML brand identity, availability of suitable blank forgings, and potential ethical and/or copyright/licensing issues with existing designs.
Assuming we come to an agreement on the above, and you accept the price quote, the ordering process will continue as follows:
