Yes, this is the new RML Wheels Instagram page.
Why a new page? Well, the tl;dr version is that a couple days ago I woke up to the notification above, and no more access to the account. It had been hacked (phishing email) and overnight something must have happened that got the account deactivated.
The Meta appeals process is a joke. I was never told what infraction(s) occurred, or offered any way to offer information to affect the decision, such as sharing the phishing email with Meta.
Yes, I’m an idiot for falling for a phishing scam, but this was a new one and the email URL spoof seems totally legit (yes, I checked it first). It just seems so unreasonable that there is no serious appeals process for something like this.
Anyway, time to start all over…
