New Forged Design For Air-Cooled Porsche 911

We are really excited to bring to the air-cooled Porsche 911 market a new RML design that truly celebrates the heritage of these cars while offering owners a new aftermarket option that will absolutely make their cars stand out amongst the rest.

The wheel design itself isn't entirely new: it's based on the Mahle Gas Burner wheel from the late '60s and early '70s. Sized in 15x5.5, this wheel was available from your local Porsche dealer on brand new 911, 912, and 914 models.

As enthusiasts, we've always loved the design, while at the same time bemoaning the fact that the size does not suit the wider arches on a G-body SC or Carrera, and the 15" diameter does not clear many of today's modern brake upgrade option.

With our 16" forged monoblock RML GBH (Gas Burner Homage), we've made a point to address the above concerns. A 16" diameter is the perfect plus-one solution, and the staggered widths - 7" for the front and 8" for the rear make this reimagined version of the Gas Burner a perfect match for the 1978-83 911 SC and 1984-89 911 Carerra. F-body and early G-body owners have the option of purchasing a set of 4 16x7 BGH wheels.

Offsets are already chosen in the industry-standard ET23 front and ET10 rear pairing.
